ULC Fire Alarm Monitoring

Banff Fire & Safety is a ULC Certified Fire alarm monitoring installer.

Required by building code, ULC certified monitoring protects your assets 24/7. Banff Fire & Safety uses Honeywell Vista control panels and equipment for robust dual path fire alarm monitoring.

Installation, monitoring, and service in accordance with CAN/ULC-S561.

Suppression Systems

Banff Fire & Safety can install, service and renovate all makes of commercial kitchen suppression systems.

We can conduct quarterly, semi annual and annual inspections with flexible scheduling to accommodate your busy restaurant businesses.

Banff Fire & Safety is an Authorized Range Guard Distributor and our factory trained technicians can assist you with design and installation of new systems.

Our service and installation is completed in accordance with NFPA 17A and NFPA 96. 

Training

Do you or your staff know how to use a Fire Extinguisher effectively? Take our training.

We offer a fun and informative fire extinguisher training program including:

• Instructional video
• Description of classes of fires and fire extinguishers
• Description of the P.A.S.S. method of extinguishing a fire
• Lecture on theory
• Examination of a dismantled fire extinguisher and description of how it works
• Hands-on practice session
• Burn pan, fire extinguishers, and personal protective equipment provided

Sprinkler

Our technicians work with all types of sprinkler systems. We can test and renovate as needed.Testing includes all sprinkler systems (wet pipe, dry pipe, deluge, pre-action, standpipes, fire pumps, fire hydrants, backflows, and internal inspections).

Fire and Domestic Backflow Proventers tests and repairs are conducted by our AWWA Certified Technicians.

Not only do we test your sprinkler system annually, we offer a 5 year internal as per NFPA 13 code.

Special Hazard Systems

Banff Fire & Safety can design, install, service, and repair suppression systems to protect most special hazards.

From small I.T./server rooms to large scale data centers and MMC rooms, we can protect your most valuable assets. We can design and install a suppression system that will protect your assets without damaging any equipment using clean agent chemical (Novec 1230).

Banff Fire & Safety technicians are also trained in the service and repair of vehicle and marine suppression systems.

Emergency Lighting

At Banff Fire & Safety we take care of all your emergency lighting needs.

Our services include installation, repair, and annual and monthly testing. So you know your emergency lighting will work properly when needed.

We provide customized High quality emergency evactuation signs.

We can provide customized High Quality Emergency evacuation Signs for your Building. The site specific signs are formated to meet municipal/provincial requirements and show nearby emergency equiptment, routes to the nearest exit and site specific emergency procedures.

We make house calls!

Our technicians are pleased to visit you at your location and assist you with your safety needs. We are confident that we can help you feel more comfortable and safe. We can install, test, troubleshoot, and repair your equipment. Our technicians can advise on which safety products will work for your home.

If we do not carry the item you are looking for in our inventory, we are happy to assist you in locating and ordering additional items. We can schedule you in for services annually and call to remind you on the anniversary of your last service and next service.
