Alarms & Detectors ~  We test and sell a variety of alarms and detectors suitable for home use.  Both battery operated and hard wired devices are available, as well as devices that communicate with one another.  If you have a fire in your basement, the smoke detector downstairs can activate the one outside of your bedroom to wake you up and get you out!  (if your home wiring will accomodate)

Fire Extinguishers ~  We offer sales and service for all types and sizes of fire extinguishers. 

Residential and Commercial service is slightly different for fire extinguishers.  If your extinguisher is for commercial use, it must be serviced annually by a certified company.   

If your extinguisher is for home use only, we suggest that you check the pressure gauges monthly.  Make sure that the pressure gauge is in the "green" and that there is no indication that the extinguisher has been discharged.  As for annual servicing, it is always a good idea, however, not required by fire code.    Manufacturer's recommendations are that extinguishers be discharged and rebuilt every 6 years.  We strongly recommend that you have this done.

Please note that if your extinguisher has a plastic handle, we may not be able to service it.  If you are unsure, bring it in.

We will also provide you with a loaner extinguisher while yours is being serviced.

First Aid & Safety ~  Safety is our number one priority.  Aside from the above mentioned items, we also carry fire escape ladders, and anything and everything you might need for personal first aid kits.  We have pre-packaged kits, or, you can build a personal one to meet your individual needs.  

Have you recently taken a First Aid or CPR course?  Are you interested in some of the items used or mentioned?  If we don't have it in stock, we can order it in... Splints, CPR masks, Triangular Bandages... Let us help you be prepared!

Annual Mainenance & Testing ~  In order to keep your facility up to National Fire Code regulations {NFPA 72}, you must have your system tested annually by a qualified service personnel (NFPA 72. 10.2.2.5), and you must perform regular maintenance. 

All fire panels and parts are installed by a certified technician.

We install Notifier® brand fire panels.

We sell and install various parts for all brands of fire panels.

Annual Maintenance & Testing ~

Annual or Semi-Annual Maintenance & Testing ~ Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems are due for testing at a minimum of 6 month intervals by a properly trained, qualified, and certified person(s).  {NFPA 96 11.2.1}

Please note that we do not offer commercial cleaning services for your exhaust hoods, however, we would be happy to help you find someone who can.

Should your kitchen supression system need renovations, repairs, or you need a system installed, we would be pleased to provide a quote.

Fire Extinguishers ~Our Shop is certified annually by Warnock Hersey.  All Extinguishers are serviced as per NFPA 10. 

Fire Extinguishers of many sizes and classes are available for purchase.

First Aid and Safety Supplies ~ We carry a variety of First Aid Supplies, but do you need Safety equipment too?  From Hard Hats and Safety Clothing such as vests, jackets, gloves, etc... to Flare Kits, Traffic Cones and Environmental Spill Clean up... we are your one stop shop.  If it's not in our shop, we'll track it down and order it in for you.

Refill Services ~ Whether you need refills on your first aid kits monthly, weekly or on an as needed basis, we are at your service!  We will work with you to ensure that your first aid kits meet Alberta Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
